We should make Minecraft Beta another game. It's awesome. I'll try and find a quick way to summarize it...

Starting off, you arrive at a distant land. You have a while to gather resources to survive your first night before the beasts come out at night. Some explode. "That's a very nice everything you have there."

Gathering countless resources, only naming a few...

-Lava in a bucket
-Iron
-Gold
-Redstone
-Diamonds!
-Stone
-Cobblestone
...And many more!

Kill mobs, or monsters, and gain more.

I can't explain it very well, go and watch BlueXephos MineCraft videos on YouTube or something.

Don't get me wrong, I don't judge a game by graphics alone. It seems like a good game other than the graphics (they are extremely pixelated).

What is the multiplayer like?

I don't mind the graphics for what the game is. If it had good graphics, it would lag SO BAD because there's so many blocks and things it has to load as you're walking around.

It's really fun, I can play it for hours at a time and not get bored. I don't even own the full version...

The graphics are supposed to be like that. It's an Indie Game.

Also, Multiplayer CAN or doesn't have to be coded with goodies. You find a server. Sometimes it'll have some added on plugins and such to make it better. HD, MineQuest, stuff like that.

Minequest is teh RP stuff, it can allow you to do anything you'd do in an MMORPG. Some servers have that.

It could be a freebuild. -Gather crap and make crap- Or a Coop Survival. -Gather crap and survive the night.-

There are so many Multiplayer possibilites I cannot name.

Eh, I tried it and for me, the graphics aren't too big of a deal, but I find the gameplay quite boring. I mean it is like forge, only worse and at least on forge on Halo, I can make maps for a game while on here, I just make maps... I don't really care for it, but I will give it another chance.
